Exuma Youth Empowerment Center (EYEC)

The first phase will include a 5,000 sq. ft. multipurpose center that will be a retreat for the youth of the island, including a 250 seat auditorium, library, class rooms, indoor-outdoor cafe, kitchen, game room and a greenhouse for agriculture.

There will also be a computer room equipped with the latest technology for training in audio-video and music production as well as graphic design. As the island is within the hurricane belt the building will be erected with back-up generator and mini clinic to also serve as a hurricane shelter. I have kick-started the project with a personal donation of $10,000. Total investment projected to be $600,000 for Phase I.
